Features of Lornet series non-linear junction detectors

All the detectors of the series have the following general characteristics:
- Two types of probing signal: impulse signal with high off-duty ratio and continuous (or impulse with low off-duty ratio, so-called 20K mode);
- Automatic tuning-out of probing signal frequency from the narrowband interference;
- Automatic and manual adjustment of probing signal power;
- Analysis of received signal by 2nd and 3rd harmonics;
- Ability to use wireless earphones.

Peculiarities of Lornet series models

Lornet is a non-linear junction detector with standard operating frequency in the range of 800-900 MHz. The distinctive features are as follows: ease of operation, low weight (1 kg), environmentally friendly (maximum output power in pulsed mode is 10 W), designed to test the office premises. Because of the frequency band applied it doesn't detect SIM card (as any other, even powerful (100-200 W) nonlinear junction detector).
Lornet-24 is a portable nonlinear junction detector with an operating frequency of 2.4 GHz. The distinctive features are as follows: ease of operation, low weight (650 g), the design of the device resembles a metal detection wand, environmentally safe (maximum radiated power of 10 watts in pulsed mode); designed for a personal inspection, use on business trips and local inspections of office premises. Due to the frequency band applied the device detects SIM card from a distance of 10-15 cm.
Lornet-36 is a non-linear junction detector with an operating frequency of 3.6 GHz (for the time being the only detector with this operation frequency). The distinctive features are as follows: ease of operation, low weight (1.6 kg), the effective parabolic antenna and the microwave range allowing it to conduct spatial selection of targets, environmentally safe (maximum output power when pulsed is 20 W), applied in anti-terrorist activities when detecting  electronic components in the distance of 3-7 meters (suspicious items, search of radio fuse components, etc.) Due to the frequency band applied the device detects SIM card at the distance of 1-1.2 meters.
Lornet-36 mini is represented by non-linear junction detector Lornet 36 with a modified antenna. The distinctive features are as follows: ease of operation, low weight (1 kg ) , compact parabolic antenna and the microwave range applied allowing it to conduct spatial selection of targets, environmentally safe ( maximum output power in pulsed mode is 20 W) , is intended to inspect the premises (selective in space) from the distance of 1 -2 meters without considerable  removal of legal electronic devices. Due to the frequency band applied the device detects SIM card at the distance 0.8 - 1 meter.
Lornet-0836 is a nonlinear dual-frequency junction detector (for the time being the only one in the world) with operating frequencies of 800 MHz and 3.6 GHz. The distinctive features are as follows: ease of operation, low weight (1 kg ). The device combines the advantages of the 800 MHz range (all-weather detection) and the range of 3.6 GHz (space selection purposes) , environmentally friendly ( maximum output power when pulsed 20 W), applied in anti-terrorist activities when detecting  electronic components in the distance of 3-7 meters with an efficient algorithm: the initial detection and subsequent selection of the target. Due to the frequency band applied the device detects SIM card at the distance of 1-1.2 meters.

Please be informed! For the most effective detection of electronic devices we highly recommend to use RASCAN-5/7000. RASCAN (http://www.rslab.ru/english/product/rascan5_7000/), holographic radar system, is the best supplementary exploration tool of Lorent's. That is ideal combinations owing to the fact that Lornet (NLJD) allow promptly localize areas of device placement, and RASCAN then allows getting the accurate picture of the selected areas.

Operating principle

Nonlinear junction locator known as the detector of semiconductor units or nonlinear transfer detector is designed for detecting devices that contain semiconductor elements (diodes, transistors, circuits). Nonlinear junction locators are used when detecting electronic eavesdropping devices as well as remote control units of improvised explosive devices.

The operating principle of nonlinear locator represents high-frequency signal radiation of the investigated object and visual and audio analysis of levels of second and third harmonic signal transmitted from the object. Nonlinear junction locator is a compulsory device for any technical security service and corresponding offices in law-enforcement agencies.

Lornet detectors’ operation is based on the property of semiconductor components to generate a response at the 2d and 3d harmonics when radiated by an RF probing signal. Semiconductor components of artificial origin will have a higher level second harmonic while semiconductor components of natural origin (e.g. oxide films) will have a higher level third harmonic respectively. The detectors analyze the 2d and 3d harmonics response of the radiated objects, which enables a quick and reliable identification of electronic devices and natural oxide semiconductors.

The detectors automatically find the best receiving frequency channel free of noise and distortion providing flawless operation even in the complicated electromagnetic environment. The frequency tuning algorithm implemented in Lornet detectors automatically selects the RF probing signal frequency such that the noise level in 2d harmonic receiving channel is held minimal, while digital processing of a demodulated signal gives maximum sensitivity.
